Entertainment included a raffle, whisky roll and an auction for prizes donated by local businesses and supporters. Martyn Brooks, Chairman of the Ashburton RBL, ran the auction and coaxed bidders into parting with £900.

Following a substantial buffet dinner, guests danced to a live band - The Hybrid5 cover band.

The Portreeve, John Nutley (1199-1200), thanked the organisers and catering team for all their hard work and the guests for their generous support on the evening.

Overall the event raised around £4,000 for the RBL, including £900 from the auction and £1500 at the bar.
